Hybrid of the Romanesco type of high quality and ideal color. Exceptional productivity and uniformity. The plant is very vigorous and rustic. It produces thornless flower heads, rounded green with purple hues. Tender and sweet heart. Appreciated for the results in the kitchen, we recommend cooking whole artichokes without being cut or sautéed in order to better enjoy the leaves. They are eaten stuffed or with typical recipes such as Roman-style artichokes which involve cooking whole artichokes with flavored broth.

Nutritional characteristics : very energetic food due to the carbohydrate content, among which inulin deserves attention, which does not increase blood sugar; for this reason the artichoke can be consumed at will by diabetics. Other characteristics are the high fiber content and the low fat content. The flower heads are rich in cynarin, a substance that has a beneficial action on bile secretion, promotes renal diuresis and regulates intestinal functions.
