Description

Light: Requires bright, direct sunlight. South-facing windows are ideal for indoor plants; otherwise, it may become “etiolated” (stretched and weak).

Water: Extremely drought-tolerant. Only water when the soil has dried out completely. In winter, reduce watering to once a month or less.

Soil: Use a gritty, well-draining cactus or succulent mix. A mix of 40% inorganic material (perlite/pumice) and 60% cactus soil is recommended.

Temperature: Prefers warmth (above 23°C/74°F). While it can briefly withstand near-freezing temperatures, it is not frost-hardy and should be kept away from cold drafts.
