💧 Watering
Keep the soil consistently moist but never soggy, as they are prone to root rot in heavy, wet soil. During the Maltese summer, check daily and water as soon as the surface feels dry to prevent the delicate flowers from wilting.

☀️ Light
In the Mediterranean, Campanula performs best in partial shade to bright, indirect light. While it enjoys morning sun, the harsh Maltese afternoon sun in mid-summer will quickly scorch its foliage and fade the blooms.

🍃 Foliage / Growth
It features small, heart-shaped or tooth-edged green leaves that form a lush, low-growing mound. Depending on the variety, it will either stay as a neat cushion or trail gracefully over the edges of containers and hanging baskets.

🪴 Potting Mix
Use a high-quality, well-draining potting soil enriched with a bit of compost to retain moisture. Adding a small amount of perlite will ensure the roots stay aerated during the more humid winter months.

🌿 Fertilizer
Apply a balanced liquid fertilizer every two weeks during the spring and summer flowering period. Regular “deadheading” (pinching off faded bells) will encourage the plant to continue producing new buds.
