Description

Philodendron squamiferum is a striking tropical houseplant known for its deeply lobed green leaves and distinctive reddish, hairy stems. Its climbing growth makes it an attractive addition to indoor plant collections.

💧 Watering

Water when the top 2–3cm of soil feels dry. Avoid waterlogging and reduce watering during winter.

☀️ Light

Prefers bright, indirect light. Protect from Malta’s strong direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

🍃 Foliage / Growth

Produces large, deeply lobed leaves on unusual hairy stems. A climbing plant that benefits from a moss pole or other support.
