About the Brand
Our mission is to develop the best quality food for pets and aviary birds.
Our vision is to contribute to the improvement of the welfare of companion birds and to the progress of poultry farming.

Since Psittacus Catalonia was born in 1998, we have focused on the continuous development and production of our poultry feeding lines, based on the experience of our breeding facilities and other collaborating centers.
The most relevant areas of the company are:
Development, manufacture and marketing of food for parrots, finches, pigeons and other birds.
Breeding of the most prestigious bird as a pet: the African gray parrot.
Carrying out research studies in our own R + D + i center and in collaboration with external entities.
Dissemination of knowledge related to birds and poultry farming.
Collaboration with non-profit organizations linked to the promotion of captive breeding of threatened species as a strategy to improve their population status.
Exterior
Our products are very specific according to each species of bird (feeding specialization, physiological state and age) and they are very pleasant. They are based on experience in our breeding facilities and other collaborating centers. We only use high quality non-GMO ingredients.
From our manual feeding formulas we evaluate: chick growth speed, weight and final development, daily consumption, correct digestive transit, prevention of bacterial and fungal proliferation in the culture, texture and size of the feces, the quality of the plumage, the general appearance and the behavior (relaxed disposition).
From our daily diet we evaluate: palatability, daily consumption, the texture and size of the feces, the body condition of the animals, the quality of the plumage, the general appearance and the reproductive aspects.
