Description

Variety of melon with an elongated oval shape that reaches a weight of 2 kg. The peel is deep yellow in color and is wrinkled and finely furrowed. The pulp is white, very sweet and crunchy. It adapts well to open field crops.

In the kitchen it is eaten fresh and is considered a very thirst-quenching fruit, given the high percentage of water it contains. The yellow melon can be used for sorbets or when combined with raw ham to prepare appetizers.

Nutritional information: in the summer it helps to maintain a balanced water-saline balance.
