💧 Watering
Water once or twice a week in spring and summer; let the top 5 cm of soil dry before rewatering.
In winter, water every 10–14 days.
Avoid overwatering, ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.

Prefers bright light to full sun.
In Malta, ideal for outdoor terraces, gardens, or bright indoor spaces with plenty of sunlight.
Can tolerate partial shade but may flower less.
🍃 Foliage / 🌸 Flowering
Forms large, upright clumps of lush, paddle-shaped leaves resembling banana foliage.
Produces white and blue bird-like flowers mainly in spring and summer when mature.
Can reach 3–6 m in height outdoors in Malta’s mild climate.
🪴 Potting Mix / Soil
Use rich, well-draining soil; mix compost, loam, and sand for container growth.
Thrives in slightly acidic to neutral soil.
Repot every 2–3 years or when roots outgrow the pot.
🌿 Fertilizer
Feed every 4–6 weeks from spring to autumn with a balanced liquid fertilizer.
Reduce feeding in winter.
