🇲🇹 Growing Tips for Malta

• Position: Choose a sunny location with good airflow. Light afternoon shade helps preserve the delicate lavender colour during Malta’s hottest summer months.
• Soil: Plant in fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost.
• Watering: Water deeply at the base, especially during hot, dry weather. Container-grown roses require more frequent watering.
• Mulching: Apply mulch to retain moisture and keep roots cooler, leaving space around the stems.
• Feeding: Use a suitable rose fertiliser during active growth, following the product instructions.
• Pruning: Prune in late winter to maintain a compact, balanced shape. Remove dead or weak stems and spent flowers to encourage further blooming.
