☀️ Light:
Prefers full sun or very bright light. Strong light enhances the rich purple colouring of the leaves.

💧 Watering:
Water sparingly and only when the growing pair of leaves has fully absorbed the older pair. During active growth, allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Reduce watering significantly during dormancy to prevent rot.

🌱 Soil:
Requires a very free-draining cactus and succulent compost with plenty of mineral grit or pumice.

🌡 Temperature:
Best grown between 10–30°C. Protect from frost and prolonged temperatures below 5°C.

Flowering
Mature plants produce large daisy-like flowers in autumn, usually golden-yellow to orange-yellow with a light fragrance. The blooms often open during sunny afternoons and can be larger than the plant itself.
