Yellow Yatsu Chilli Pepper
Origin: Native to Japan.
Heat Level (SHU): Typically ranges from 50,000 to 70,000 SHU.
Comparison: It can be up to 28 times hotter than a jalapeño.
Appearance: Conical, elongated fruits, about 6 cm long. They grow in upward-facing bunches and ripen from green to bright yellow.
Flavor: Spicy with a slightly fruity taste.
Uses: Commonly used in salsas, sauces, and as a garnish. Adds vibrant color and heat to various dishes. Often dried and used to create chili powders.
Interesting Fact: Rich in vitamins A and C, antioxidants, and capsaicin. The Yatsu Giallo pepper is known for its ornamental value due to its bright yellow color and compact plant size.
