Origin: Native to Central Mexico.

Comparison: It is much milder than a jalapeño.
Appearance: Medium-sized, elongated peppers, typically red when mature.
Flavor: Sweet and slightly tangy, with very mild heat.
Uses: Commonly dried and ground into paprika powder. Used to add color and mild flavor to dishes like goulash, stews, and soups. Also used as a garnish for various dishes.
