Origin: Native to Bangladesh and Northeast India.
Heat Level (SHU): Ranges from 855,000 to 1,000,000 SHU.
Comparison: It can be up to 400 times hotter than a jalapeño.
Appearance: Small to medium-sized, pod-shaped peppers with a wrinkled texture. They ripen from green to a rich chocolate brown.
Flavor: Smoky, slightly sweet, with woody undertones.
Uses: Commonly used in hot sauces, salsas, and spicy dishes. Adds intense heat and unique flavor to various culinary creations.
Interesting Fact: Rich in vitamins A and C, antioxidants, and capsaicin. The Naga Morich Chocolate is a close relative of the Bhut Jolokia (Ghost Pepper) and the Dorset Naga.
