Expert Tips for Growing White Peonies in Malta: To get the best results in our local climate, follow these simple guidelines:

Sun & Shade Balance: While peonies love light, the Maltese afternoon sun can be too harsh. Plant them where they receive 6 hours of morning sun but are shaded during the hottest part of the day.

The Goldilocks Planting Depth: Plant the roots so the small buds (eyes) are only 2-3 cm below the soil surface. Planting them deeper will result in leaves but no flowers!
