Before opening the umbrella, carefully check that the slats are not overlapped. Then make sure that the crank is rotated very slowly so that the steel wire remains in tension: in case this operation is difficult, do not force, but check again the exact position of the slats. The non-observance of these instructions of use could cause the breaking of the crank mechanism, therefore, the expiry of the warranty. The base of the umbrella should be ballasted with an adequate weight (at least 100 kg). The insufficient weight at the base of the umbrella seriously compromises its stability. Check and tighten the screws regularly.
Always close the parasol when not in use and in case of wind. In any case, do not use with rain, wind or bad weather: The product is made to act as parasol.
Cases of wear, distortion and discoloration of all the components of the product which is directly exposed to atmospheric agents, handling and/or daily use, are to be considered as normal and therefore, under no circumstances will they be evaluated as manufacturing defects as such because associated with the normal conditions of use of the item. When the umbrella is closed, it is recommended to protect it with an umbrella cover in order to avoid uneven discoloration of the cover.
The frame is easy to clean: use a damp and soft cloth. For the most persistent stains, a small amount of mild liquid soap diluted in water may be used. Always dry with a soft cloth after cleaning. Never use aggressive detergents. Never use abrasive sponges that may scratch the surfaces.
It is advisable to store the product in a dry and ventilated place before winter or during the long periods it is not in use, in order to preserve its characteristics over time.
