The Tardivo Mandarin is a medium sized shrub to small tree originating from the Mediterranean. The tree has small fragrant flowers that bloom in spring, well after other mandarin varieties, and the fruit develops though summer and into early autumn. The fruit have a wide and flat appearance, with soft smooth skin of pale orange, and a tart but sweet taste.
