💧 Watering
Water every 10–14 days in spring and summer, letting soil dry completely between waterings.
In winter, reduce to once every 3–4 weeks.
Overwatering is the main cause of problems, prefers dry soil.

☀️ Sunlight
Thrives in full sun to bright light. In Malta, perfect for sunny terraces, patios, and balconies.
Partial shade tolerated but may reduce red leaf edges and compactness.

🍃 Foliage / 🌸 Flowering
Thick, paddle-shaped green leaves, often red-edged in bright light.
Produces tall clusters of yellow flowers in spring–summer.
Grown primarily for its dramatic foliage.

🪴 Potting Mix
Use well-draining succulent/cactus mix with added sand or perlite.
Ensure pots have excellent drainage.

🌿 Fertilizer
Feed once a month during spring and summer with a diluted succulent fertilizer.
No feeding in winter.

Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested. Keep out of reach of pets and children.

🌿 Additional Notes
Perfectly suited to Malta’s hot, dry summers.
Protect from frost or temperatures below 10°C.
Rotate occasionally for even growth.
