Description

The ‘Oricola’ is considered a low-maintenance, hardy plant.

Light: Prefers bright, direct sunlight for at least half a day to maintain its vibrant red coloration.

Watering: Use the “soak and dry” method. Water thoroughly every 10–14 days during the growing season (spring/summer) and reduce significantly in winter to prevent root rot.

Temperature: It is frost-tender and should be kept at temperatures above 8–10°C. In colder climates, it must be brought indoors for the winter.

Soil: Requires a well-draining cactus or succulent mix, ideally in a pot with drainage holes.
Propagation: Easily propagated through leaf cuttings or by removing and replanting the small offsets that grow at the base of the mother plant.
