💧 Watering
Water once a week during spring–summer.
Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry between waterings.
In winter, reduce to every 10–14 days.
Avoid waterlogging, root rot can occur if soil stays too wet.

☀️ Sunlight
Prefers bright, indirect light or partial shade.
In Malta, ideal for shaded terraces, patios, or bright indoor rooms.
Tolerates lower light than most palms, making it excellent for interiors.

🍃 Foliage / 🌸 Flowering
Elegant arching fronds with dark green, feather-like leaflets.
Rarely flowers indoors; grown mainly for its tropical, refined foliage.
Slow-growing and long-lived.

🪴 Potting Mix
Use a well-draining, airy mix; peat, perlite, and compost blend.
Ensure the pot has good drainage holes.

🌿 Fertilizer
Feed every 6–8 weeks during spring–summer with a diluted balanced fertilizer.
Do not over-fertilize. Palms are light feeders.

This plant is labeled as non-toxic to cats and dogs by the ASPCA. However, be advised that the consumption of any plant material may cause vomiting and gastrointestinal upset for dogs and cats.
