Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered sun.
In Malta, thrives near bright windows or shaded terraces.
Avoid strong direct sun, which can scorch leaves, especially variegated types.

🍃 Foliage / 🌸 Flowering
Large, glossy, oval leaves in deep green or burgundy tones (depending on the variety).
Rarely flowers indoors; grown for its bold foliage and sculptural form.
Can reach 1.5–3 m indoors with proper care.

🪴 Potting Mix
Use a well-draining mix; peat, perlite, and compost blend works best.
Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.

🌿 Fertilizer
Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring–summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer.
Pause feeding in autumn–winter.
