Description

💧 Watering
Water every 10–14 days in spring and summer, only when soil is completly dry.
In winter, reduce to once every 3–4 weeks.
Avoid water sitting in the rosette, this can cause rot.

☀️ Sunlight
Prefers bright light to full sun.
In Malta, ideal for sunny balconies, terraces, and outdoor pots.
Provide light afternoon shade in extreme summer heat to prevent leaf scorch.

🍃 Foliage / 🌸 Flowering
Compact blue-green rosettes with soft, rounded leaves.
Produces tall red-pink flower stalks with yellow-orange blooms in spring–summer.
Forms offsets (“chicks”) around the mother plant.

🪴 Potting Mix
Use a fast-draining cactus/succulent mix with added sand or perlite.
Always plant in pots with excellent drainage.

🌿 Fertilizer
Feed once a month in spring and summer with a diluted cactus fertilizer.
No fertilizing in winter.
