Description

💧 Watering
Water when the top 3–4 cm of soil is dry.
In Malta’s warm conditions, watering is usually needed once a week.
Reduce watering in winter; avoid waterlogged soil.

Prefers bright, indirect light.
Tolerates medium light, but leaf colour is best in brighter conditions.
Avoid direct sun, especially strong midday sun.

🍃 Foliage / Growth
Large green leaves with a lighter green central stripe.
Upright growth habit; excellent floor or tabletop plant.
Flowering is rare and not decorative.

🪴 Potting Mix
Use a well-draining indoor plant mix with added perlite.
Pots must have drainage holes.

🌿 Fertilizer
Feed every 4 weeks in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer.
No feeding in winter.

⚠️ Highly toxic to cats, dogs, and humans if ingested (calcium oxalate crystals).
Sap may cause skin and mouth irritation.
