💧 Watering
Water 2–3 times per week in Malta’s warm season; keep soil evenly moist but never waterlogged.
In winter, reduce to once weekly.
Avoid letting the soil fully dry out for long periods.

☀️ Sunlight
Prefers bright light to half-day sun.
In Malta, thrives in morning sun + afternoon shade to prevent leaf scorch.
Indoors, place in the brightest spot available.

🍃 Foliage / Growth
Evergreen conifer with fine, lemon-scented, chartreuse foliage.
Upright, columnar growth; can reach 1–2 m in pots, more in the ground.

🪴 Potting Mix
Use well-draining soil: potting mix + pine bark + perlite.
Needs good drainage to avoid root rot.

🌿 Fertilizer
Feed every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer with a conifer or balanced fertilizer.
No feeding in winter.

🐕🐈 Pet Safety
Generally considered non-toxic, but ingestion can cause mild stomach upset.
Not typically attractive to pets.
