💧 Watering
Water 1–2 times weekly during flowering season; keep soil lightly moist but not soggy.
Water from the base (avoid wetting the crown) to prevent rot.
Allow tuber to rest dry in summer dormancy.

Bright, indirect light is ideal.
In Malta, keep outdoors in partial shade during winter; move to a cool, sheltered spot in summer.

🍃 Foliage / 🌸 Flowering
Heart-shaped, patterned leaves.
Produces vibrant flowers (pink, red, white, purple) from late autumn through spring.
Enters dormancy in summer; leaves and flowers die back until cooler weather returns.

🪴 Potting Mix
Well-draining soil, ideally a peat-based mix with added perlite or sand.
Avoid compact, heavy soils.

🌿 Fertilizer
Feed every 2 weeks with a low-nitrogen fertilizer during active growth and flowering.
Stop feeding during summer dormancy.
