Tomatillo
Sow March-April indoors at 20-22ºC. In May, plant outside in a sunny spot at 40×40 cm or in large pots. The more sun, the sweeter
the fruits.
The fruits of the Tomatillo or Mexican Earthcress are juicy, sweet and sour and rich in vitamins. You can eat them raw, make a chutney or use them for a sauce (salsa verde). You can store the fruits in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks.
