The Asarina is a climber with striking flowers in the shape of a snapdragon, hence the nickname lion slipper. Blooms profusely and continuously until the first frost. Known as a climbing plant, but nowadays also often seen in hanging baskets. Sow from mid-March at 20C in a greenhouse and plant out mid-May. Blooms from June.
