Buzzy® BIO Cut & Eat Sprouting Cress

2.85

Particularly popular as both the germ shoot and the young leaves can be eaten. Cress contains mustard oil and taste delicious in a mixed salad, with smoked salmon and numerous other fish. The young plants are rich in vitamins A, B, C and minerals. The sprouts can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Sprouting seeds can be grown easily with water and a sprouting jar; simply rinse the seeds 2-3 times a day.

Description

Sprinkle the seed in a thin layer on the sowing grid and rinse it carefully under the tap. Fill the glass bowl with water to the bottom of the grid and place it on the windowsill in a normal room temperature (20-22C). Change the water every day.
You can also fill an empty butter tray with wet cotton wool and sprinkle the seeds on it. Keep the cotton wool well moist and you can enjoy your own grown sprouts. After 4 days, the sprouts (which are then 3-5 cm long) can be eaten.

NB! Basil, arugula and cress create a gel after contact with water. Less suitable for sprouting in the sprouting vegetable pot, which must be drained. We recommend sprouting these species by mixing with alfalfa and/or radish cherry and/or broccoli cherry.
