Basil can be sown indoors all year round. For outdoor cultivation, sow indoors from March to July and move outdoors once temperatures rise above 20°C.
This basil has reddish stems and dark red leaves. The high anthocyanin content makes the taste extra spicy. A beautiful plant which is also suitable for the ornamental garden.
