Description

Chickweed, Stellaria media belongs to the carnation family and lives up to its name. Both the green parts and the many oilseeds of this annual plant are very rich as a food source for all kinds of birds, among others. Chickweed likes open and slightly moist, nutrient-rich, worked soil. The whole plant is edible and a delicacy for many birds.

Animal Favorites are intended for growing additional animal feed yourself. Always use supplementary animal feed in moderation and alternately, in addition to the basic (complete) animal feed.
