Water regularly while establishing, then reduce frequency. Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings, especially during Malta’s hot summers.

Requires full sun for strong colour and abundant flowering. Thrives in intense Maltese sunlight and heat.

🍃 Foliage / Growth
Features decorative variegated leaves and colourful bracts that bloom repeatedly in warm conditions. Vigorous climbing or trailing habit.

🪴 Soil / Planting Mix
Prefers well-draining, sandy or gritty soil. Excellent drainage is essential to prevent root rot, particularly in winter.

🌿 Fertilizer
Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a fertilizer slightly higher in potassium to promote flowering. Avoid excess nitrogen to prevent leafy growth.
