Water moderately while establishing. Once established, allow the soil to dry out between waterings and reduce watering during cooler months.

Thrives in full sun to light partial shade. In Malta’s intense summer heat, light afternoon shade can prevent leaf scorch.

🍃 Foliage / Growth
Forms large, elegant rosettes of pale green, fleshy leaves. Mature plants produce a dramatic curved flower spike before the main rosette naturally declines.

🪴 Soil / Planting Mix
Requires very well-draining soil, such as sandy or gritty mixes. Excellent drainage is essential year-round.

🌿 Fertilizer
Feed lightly once or twice during spring and summer with a diluted succulent fertilizer. Avoid excessive feeding.

Sap may cause irritation and is considered mildly toxic if ingested. Keep pets away from foliage.
