💧 Watering
Water moderately during its active growing season (autumn to spring). In Malta’s hot summers, reduce watering significantly as the plant becomes semi-dormant.

☀️ Light
Thrives in full sun to partial shade. Strong sunlight enhances its deep colour, but provide light afternoon protection during extreme summer heat.

🍃 Foliage / Growth
Forms branching stems topped with large, glossy rosettes in deep burgundy-black tones. Produces tall yellow flower spikes on mature plants.

🪴 Soil / Planting Mix
Requires very well-draining soil, such as cactus or sandy mix. Excellent drainage is essential, especially during humid periods.

🌿 Fertilizer
Feed lightly once or twice during the growing season with a diluted succulent fertilizer. Avoid feeding during summer dormancy.

⚠️🐕🐈 Pet Safety
Mildly toxic if ingested. Keep out of reach of pets.

🌬️ Air Purifying
Primarily ornamental; contributes to a healthier outdoor environment and supports pollinators when in bloom.
