The leaves are green and very narrow, giving the appearance of horse tails. The white flower panicles develop from May to August. From the end of March in a germination tray at 15-20°C or later outdoors in a seed bed. Cover lightly and do not let the soil dry out. Transplant the plants in small groups as soon as the seedlings have developed enough roots. Then transplant them into a larger pot or directly at their destination. Grasses like well-draining soil, in winter it should not be too wet.
