Description

Medium vigor plant with good leaf coverage. The peppers are globular-flattened at the poles, green in color that turns red when ripe. Smooth skin with slight grooves and thick pulp of excellent organoleptic quality. Suitable for greenhouse and open field cultivation. The red Topepo is a typical variety widely used in southern Italy, especially in Calabria. Widely used in the kitchen for frying, for filling, for preserving in vinegar, for sauces and preparations of Calabrian cold cuts.
