Water deeply and regularly at the base of the plant, especially during the hot summer months. Allow the top 5 centimeters of soil to dry out between waterings. Avoid wetting the leaves, as damp foliage can encourage fungal diseases.

It requires full, direct sunlight for at least six hours every day to bloom heavily. It handles the Maltese heat well but appreciates a position with good air circulation to keep the plant healthy.
