Ready to branch out into a role that keeps you moving? Sherries Estates is looking for a reliable, energetic Delivery Driver & Storekeeper to join our team.

We need someone who is as comfortable navigating traffic as they are navigating a warehouse. You’ll spend part of your day on the road delivering plants and garden supplies, and the other part helping our team manage stock and prep orders.

Hours: Flexible Hours, Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Must be able to communicate in Maltese efficiently.

Responsibilities:

On the Road (Delivery):
– Safe Transport: products to clients safely and on time.
– Customer Service: Act as the face of Sherries, providing friendly service during drop-offs.
– Loading/Unloading: Carefully load the vehicle to prevent damage and assist with unloading at the destination.
– Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the delivery vehicle clean and report any maintenance needs.

In the Centre (Storekeeping):
– Inventory Management: Assist with receiving new shipments, checking quantities, and organizing stock.
– Order Picking: Help gather and prep items for upcoming deliveries or customer pickups.
– Space Optimization: Keep the warehouse and storage areas tidy, safe, and efficient.
– Team Support: Pitch in with heavy lifting or general tasks to keep the garden centre running smoothly.

Requirements:

– Licensing: A valid driving license (Category B) and a clean driving record. A forklift license will be considered an asset.
– Physical Stamina: You’ll be handling heavy pots, bags of soil, and garden furniture—this is a great role for someone who likes to stay active.
– The “Green” Touch: You don’t need to be a botanist, but you must handle our plants with care.
– Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are non-negotiable.
– Communication: Fluent in English (Maltese is a big plus) to coordinate with the team and chat with customers.
