Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. In Malta’s hot summers, reduce watering to prevent root rot.

Thrives in full sun to bright light. Strong Maltese sunlight enhances leaf colour, but introduce gradually to avoid scorch.

🍃 Foliage / Growth
Features fleshy, oval green leaves that may develop red edges in bright sun. Slow-growing with a woody, tree-like form over time.

🪴 Soil / Planting Mix
Requires a fast-draining cactus or succulent mix with added grit. Excellent drainage is essential year-round.

🌿 Fertilizer
Feed lightly once a month during spring and summer with a diluted succulent fertilizer. Avoid feeding during winter.
