💧 Watering
Water every 14–20 days in spring and summer, only when soil is completely dry.
In winter, reduce to once every 4–5 weeks.
Extremely sensitive to overwatering, rot occurs quickly.

☀️ Sunlight
Prefers full sun to very bright light.
In Malta, ideal for sunny windowsills, terraces, and outdoor pots.
Light shade during peak summer heat helps prevent scorching.

🍃 Foliage / 🌼 Flowering
Tubular, upright leaves with clear “windows” at the tips for light absorption.
Produces bright yellow-orange daisy-like flowers in late summer–autumn.
Very slow-growing, compact plant — perfect for small pots.

🪴 Potting Mix
Use an extra fast-draining cactus/succulent mix with high sand or grit content.
Pots must have excellent drainage.

🌿 Fertilizer
Feed once every 6–8 weeks in spring and summer with a very diluted cactus fertilizer.
Do not fertilize in winter.
