Description
Typical variety of the Messina area, it produces deep purple eggplants, oval in shape, with an average weight of 500-600 gr. With a plant it is possible to obtain from 6 to 8 kg of aubergines. The skin is smooth, tender and sweet flesh with few seeds. The harvest is obtained 50-70 days after the transplant. These aubergines, having few seeds, are highly appreciated in the kitchen fried or even for the preparation of parmigiana and pasta alla norma.
