We are looking for a friendly and efficient Cashier / Sales Assistant to join our team at our garden center. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to handle transactions accurately, and the ability to communicate effectively in both Maltese and English.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide assistance with their purchases.
• Handle cash register operations, including processing sales transactions and managing cash.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and provide information on plant care.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Support the sales team with inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in both Maltese and English.
• Previous experience in a cashier or retail sales role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Ability to work part-time hours, including weekends and holidays.
• A passion for plants and gardening is a plus.
