ABRAHAM DARBY

A well-rounded, vigorous shrub bearing very large, cup-shaped flowers in shades of apricot and yellow, becoming coral-pink as they age. It has a rich, fruity fragrance with a refreshing sharpness.

BENJAMIN BRITTEN

A variety of unusual coloring that changes with age to a glowing deep pink-red. The deeply cupped flowers soon open to slightly cupped rosettes. The fragrance is fruity, with aspects of wine and pear drops. It forms a dense, rather upright shrub.

CHARLOTTE

Bears exquisite yellow flowers. These start off beautifully cupped, later opening out to form rosettes. Each bloom is packed with numerous small petals, arranged around a classic button eye. It has excellent green foliage and a compact, bushy habit with even, upright growth.

CROWN PRINCESS MARGARETA

A vigorous climber, bearing neat, fragrant, apricot-orange rosettes. They are produced with exceptional freedom and regularity.

DARCEY BUSSELL

Each deep, rich crimson-pink bloom forms a perfect ring around an inner cup, gradually opening out to form a perfect, medium-large rosette. There is a light-medium fruity scent.

GRAHAM THOMAS

With its vigorous, upright growth, it makes a very good climber, both in beauty and performance. It bears medium-sized, cupped blooms of an unusually rich, pure shade of yellow with a light Tea fragrance.

LADY EMMA HAMILTON

Dark red buds open to chalice-shaped blooms of bright tangerine-orange, with contrasting yellow undersides. They have a particularly strong, delicious fruity fragrance with hints of pear, grape and citrus fruits. It forms a fairly upright, bushy shrub.

LADY OF SHALOTT

Rich orange-red buds open to chalice-shaped blooms, filled with loosely arranged, orange petals. The surrounding outer petals are salmon-pink with beautifully contrasting golden-yellow undersides. There is a pleasant, warm Tea fragrance, with hints of spiced apple and cloves.

MUNSTEAD WOOD

Light crimson buds gradually open to reveal very deep velvety crimson blooms. The flowers are large cups at first, becoming shallowly cupped with time. There is a strong Old Rose fragrance with warm, fruity notes of blackberry, blueberry and damson. The bushy, spreading growth forms a broad shrub.

PRINCESS ALEXANDRA OF KENT

The unusually large, bright pink flowers are full-petalled and deeply cupped. In spite of their size, they are never clumsy, being held nicely poised on a well-rounded shrub. There is a strong and delicious fresh Tea fragrance, which changes to lemon, eventually taking on hints of blackcurrants.

ST. SWITHUN

A short, vigorous climber bearing large, saucer-like blooms, each packed with over one hundred frilly petals. They are a pure soft pink, paling to blush towards the edges, and are complemented by plentiful greyish-green foliage. There is a medium-strong myrrh scent.

TEASING GEORGIA

A particularly free-flowering climber, producing impressive displays of blooms into fall. The refined rosette flowers are rich yellow at the center, fading to palest yellow on the edges.
