Acrata Chilli Pepper
Origin: Native to Venezuela.
Heat Level (SHU): Ranges from 30,000 to 50,000 SHU.
Comparison: It can be up to 20 times hotter than a jalapeño.
Appearance: Slightly arched, 5-6 cm long, with a skin that ranges from smooth to slightly wrinkled. The peppers start green, turn shiny dark black, and finally become fiery red when fully ripe.
Flavor: Spicy with a slightly fruity taste.
Uses: Commonly used in salsas, sauces, and as a garnish. Adds vibrant color and heat to various dishes.
Interesting Fact: Rich in vitamins A and C, antioxidants, and capsaicin. The plant is also known for its ornamental value, with its colorful peppers and silvery, pubescent leaves.
